Changing the oil and filter on a 987 is actually very easy, but slightly different than other oil changes you may have performed. There are a few specialty tools I would recommend you obtain before tackling this maintenance task.
Recommended Tools:
A quality 3/8" drive Torque Wrench
An appropriately sized Oil Filter Socket that will attach to your 3/8" Torque Wrench
A 3/8" drive 8mm Hex Bit that will attach to your Torque Wrench
Oil Drain Pan

A few years ago I purchased an auxiliary input for my CDR-220 from SW Stereo. I think it cost $20 or $30. Here is my version of a how-to installation. Unfortunately, I did not think to take pictures during the installation; sorry.
The aux input plugs into the back of the head unit and terminates in a pair of RCA jacks. I added a 6' RCA to 1/8" cable from Radio Shack and snaked it under my center console, past the shifter, and behind my "non-smoker tray." I also purchased a female-female...
