Note this is for the 986 series only. Replacing spark plugs and tubes in our 986 Boxsters is fairly straight forward but because of the tight space of the locations, it’s helpful to use a few tools to make the job easier. Porsche supplies a wheel hanger stud to make it easy to dismount and mount our wheels. I bought these because I feel it’s better using two instead of one. Just completed the replacement of the OEM battery on SilverBox, a 2008 987. The OEM battery was about 5 1/2 years old and started showing dying signs this past weekend. If you have not done one on your Boxster you should know that the process is easy and straightforward. I selected an ACDelco 94R Profession Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) battery as the replacement.
