Sometimes it is necessary to remove the seats for cleaning, repair, or to access the Central Locking Unit (CLU) of your 986. It's a simple job, but I thought it be helpful to document. Step one is to disconnect the NEGATIVE terminal of your battery. This step will help you avoid throwing the airbag light, which can only be reset with the dealer/indie computer or a Durametric device. Ask me how I know this.... Note: it is easier to remove the seats with the top down, so lower the top...
