For anyone interested, here is the instruction to swap the Boxster spoiler assembly for the Cayman one. Ideally, the bumper should be replaced with the Cayman unit for a more complete look, though it's not necessary. Enjoy! This is direction to swap your 987.1 Boxster spoiler to 987.1 Cayman spoiler. The swap is relatively straight forward. It took me about 30 minutes (with pictures) and can be easily done with a small drill bit, a torx bit and 13mm socket. Parts needed: • Cayman...

Suncoast 997 Sport Pedal Set My family was kind enough to give me a set of aluminum pedals for my recent birthday. The pedals they bought me are the 997 Sport Pedal set from Suncoast Porsche. Here is a link to them on Suncoast. 997 Sport Pedal Set I'm not sure who makes them, but I do not believe they are from Porsche as they don't carry a Porsche model number on them or on the packaging anywhere. In fact, the packaging was only a simple black box. However, they were packaged very...

There are several aftermarket kits available for less money than the factory unit. All require you remove the shift lever and console to install, but the...

Recently I was getting ready to put new rubber on my wheels and flush my brake fluid. Since I’m always looking for more projects, I decided that while I had the wheels off and was flushing the brakes I would install new stainless-steel brake lines. This procedure replaces the stock rubber lines found behind the wheels. A flexible section of brake line is needed here to accommodate the movement of the wheels relative to the body. Do a search on the Internet and it won’t take long to find...
