PS I sold my last Boxster to my daughter last year and have only a '18 Cayman now, but do not think that would lead to dismissal from this site, since this is a recent problem.

I see that happening sometimes too. I clear the cache and it resets everything. Actually I really don't pay attention to that because I always go to the "New Posts" icon to get the latest.

Having the log in problem again John. I just tried over 10 times with same result.
What did you mean by "clearing the cache"?

An internet browser caches (saves) data on the sites you visit to include "cookies" that contain log in information. This information is saved locally on the PC you're using. Clearing the "cache" and "cookies" deletes the files that the website deposits on your machine. Sometimes these files cause issues and deleting these files may resolve the problem you are having. If you go into your browser and click settings, somewhere within those settings will be a selection to clear the cache and often a check box if checked will clear cookies too. Be forewarned though that if you clear cookies any saved log in assistance will be deleted too so when you go to your bank account or BMW forum, etc, you'll need to supply your credentials again.

To figure out how to clear these files, google "clear cache" and/or "delete cookies" for the browser you are using (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc).
