I have 2 of them awaiting some warmer weather for installation on my Boxster & Cayenne. I hope that everyone who expressed interest in purchasing this Boxster Register specialty item has placed their order, and send my sincerest thanks for helping bring this journey to a happy conclusion.

I still need to get mine. First I couldn't decide whether to go with black or chrome. Then I started to order and didn't have my credit card. Then I decided to wait until after Christmas.

As a new member here, I was poking around and pleased to find this information about the license plate frame. Brilliant! Just ordered and cant wait to receive it and get it on to see how it looks! Thanks for the work to make these available to us.

Would love it if they offered a baseball cap with the logo. I usually wear a cap to keep the sun out of my eyes with the top down. A BR hat would be perfect.

I wish Porsche AG and PCNA supported the older Boxsters better with gear. I�d rather have some Boxster stuff than some of the other Collections they have.

Something else to consider, John, as long as you are talking with them.........maybe also offer just the Boxster Register PATCH, so that people could attach them to their existing clothing/hats of choice. Bet they could sell a whole boatload, don't ya think?

I've never understood why this is so difficult to get Boxster Register Logo gear. Here in our region we have our logo at a local embroidery company. A region member just has to call, and order what ever they want from their catalogue and Voila! An Absaroka Region hat.

It shouldn't be that big of a process in my opinion. It would seem national could afford to order and stock a dozen Roxster Register hats.

It's not that difficult getting the office to place the order to the supplier, but with 146 regions, 14 zones and 21 Registries, the National office would have to, at the minimum, 187 hats (times 12!). All of the same color. Currently there are 146 different hat colors and styles that I need to choose from.

As you know, the National office is not in the embroidery business. The Boxster Register is not a corporation like nearly all of the regions and we don't have the liberty to seek out business suppliers and must rely on the National Office for their help. One of the nice 'perks' of having the National Office as our clothing/logo supplier is that each article of clothing has the official Porsche script on the back. I don't know of any region or zone that has authorization to reproduce the script through their suppliers.

Believe me, I know it gets frustrating but it all works out. I'll admit the car badge order took a long time to fruition.

I get it it, but its just a hat. It really doesn't need a committee for decision. Be a dictator and keep the choice simple. Pick one hat (your choice, you're the boss), get a black, red and gray. They'll sell.

In our region you call the established embroidery shop and order one in Orange. If its in their catalogue you can get it!

I'm sure we'll get some hats, it'll just take some time.
