Thanks for the reply, Gary. I've had quite a few in-person exchanges with Vu, and all have been extremely friendly and pleasant...….he is truly one of the *nice guys*. He is always so busy at the many PCA events he attends that it's difficult to imagine if he is having as much fun as it seems. With that in mind, while I was at the COTA track experience during the Hill Country Treffen, I let Vu drive my Boxster for some of the touring laps, and he came back into the pit lane with a huge grin from ear to ear. I knew he had a good time, and that really made MY day.

Apologies are in order! I'm a bit slow coming into this party. I have several BR email addresses and didn't check the spam folder on one of them.

Upon the receipt of the post about the shipping charge from Lee, I fired up an email to Charlotte asking about the huge shipping cost. She responded by saying "will add shipping into the price and increase it by $5. Now it will show as free shipping however the badge is now $32".

I should have communicated this early on and would have explained Lee's question before he had to write in to the National office.

Sorry for the lateness Lee and others.

On 11/23 I purchased a PCA Badge ($18.99) and a Boxster Registry Badge and was charged $32 for the BR Badge plus $11.26 for shipping!

Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

Hello Keoni986,
Please ask Vu to include PCA Boxster Register Grill Badges and Polo Shirts at the 2019 PCA Parade Store. Shipping cost should be saved, unless sales tax is also excessive.

I'll check to see if they will have our BR Grill Badge. I know they don't stock polo shirts, sorry.

I purchased the Boxster Register Car Badge from The PCA store.
When it arrived, one of the mounting screws is smooth without any threads.
I wrote to the PCA store but have not heard back. I can't mount the badge without the screw.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

Just go to your local hardware/DIY store and pick up some generic zinc plated bolts, washers and nuts. If the bolts you get are longer than necessary, you can cut off the excess (after installation, of course) or heatshrink the protruding ends to protect them - all depending on your particular requirements.

Personally, I used #8-32x1" truss-head bolts, 1/8 x 1" fender washers, #8 external tooth lock washers, and double hexnuts (for locking purposes)…...all of which I already had in the garage.

The most perfect picture I have ever seen of a Boxster. Beautiful!
