This is a big THANK YOU"ll.
I must be the first to receive the wonderful Boxster DVD. I enjoy each week of answering the questions. I must admit I only cheated once to look up the answer, I am a good guesser. I love this site and look most everyday. I get a lot of great info from the site. This is my first Porsche, 2008 LE S #95. I have never attempted to change oil or even take off the wheels to wax my rims, but now I an getting pretty bold after reading the site since I became a member a few months ago. I would always do stuff on my British cars but the Porsche seemed to much of a challange; my thoughts are rapidly changing. I am ready to buy a new jack and tourque wrench to take off my wheels.I get more out this site than my local club. I am learning my way around the site, I want to try and post pictures of Porsche events that I have attended.

You are very welcome, we are happy to be able to share the LE Boxster DVD's. Your nice comments are also appreciated, all of what you said is the primary reason for our new forum.

We can all thank PCA for providing us this opportunity, without their total support we could not exist. We can also thank Porsche AG (the factory) and Porsche Cars North America (the US distributor) for their support, they contributed the LE DVD's for us to use as our gifts.

Wayne, thanks for the nice comments. Sure glad you like the DVD and of course the Tech Quiz's. We try to keep them interesting and hope everyone has a learning experience. Sometimes they are a little hard to answer but hopefully once everyone sees the answer, if they got it wrong, then they will have learned sometime about their Boxster and Porsche's in General.

Now go out and buy that nice jack and torque wrench, learn what your Boxster is telling you each time you drive.

I was really surprised to get a small package from the Registry shortly after joining. In it was the DVD! What a cool surprise. My son and I really enjoyed watching every bit of it.

Now I look for the weekly quiz and take a shot at answering it.

You are very welcome for the DVD, it is our pleasure to be able to send those out to our participating members. And, thank you for responding as well. We need to hear from all of our members from time to time, that's the best way for us to build momentum and interest in our site. It is OUR site, it belongs to all who have made that easy decision and have joined.

Message to all - there are many opportunities to show interest in the site. Write an article, participate in the weekly Tech Quiz, ask a question, post a reply to something you are familiar with, do the "Boxster Lounge" if you just want to have a chat about something on your mind, add photos to your album.

For those of us in the cold weather states, it's a good time to talk about dealing with the stress of not being able to regularly drive your Boxster. I know I'm having a tough time myself, Bruno is sitting in the garage hooked up to the "life support" Porsche battery maintainer, when he would much more like to be out there competing in something. :frown:

Thanks guys. Just got home and found my DVD fantastic. It was almost as good as trying to expalin to my wife that I hadn't bought something from PCA with out asking ;).
Impressed #3 son that I knew something tech about Porsche.

A heart felt Thanks to You, Porsche AG and Porsche North America for the beautiful and informative Boxster CD, which I received today. The question regarding "the final version of the Porsche crest" jogged something in my memory and out popped Erwin Komenda...by the way I really enjoyed the after quiz research you put me through...again it was great fun. I urge all members to participate in the weekly tech quiz...You may be fortunate to receive such a surprise, as I did...but most assuredly, you will achieve a greater wealth of knowledge about our beloved Boxsters.

Well said, and we are so happy you like the DVD. It's very encouraging to know that members are enjoying the Tech Quiz Challenge. Some may not realize that the Parade Tech Quiz is considered as one of the four major Parade competition components, those being the Concours, Rally, Autocross and Tech Quiz. It's hoped that at this years Parade in Savannah we will have the most knowledgeable and prepared group of Boxster owners ever. The competition will be tough, but we will all be prepared based on our participation here.

Keep up the good work, and hopefully we may meet F2F in Savannah............
